Subscribing to an RSS Feed, Using Apple Mail, In Six Steps
A Quick Tutorial on How To Do This... Apologies in Advance to Windows™ Users, Who Will Have To Find Their Own Tutorial

Step 1: You'll notice, on the winslam.com photo pages, there now appears, at the top of each page, an orange icon (shown below). This is the RSS Subscribe icon for the given photoset.

Step 2: Click on it to see the RSS feed itself in your browser (shown below). You'll see the RSS Feed Name and a URL to each item in the feed (you can ignore all of that for now). Note that the RSS Subscribe URL is now at the top of your browser. In the case below, this is:

http:/www.winslam.com/laramee/photos/2008_Delphine/photos.rss.

Step 3: Open Apple Mail. Choose File, then Add RSS Feeds. You'll get a dialog box, shown below. Check "Specify a custom feed URL".

Step 4: Cut and paste the RSS URL (from Step 2) into that dialog box and click Add. Apple Mail will then fetch all of the photos currently in the photoset and create a single message in your RSS Inbox for each one (shown below).

Step 5: If you've already seen all of the existing photos, you can CTRL-click on the RSS feed name and select Mark All Messages As Read to indicate that you've read all items (shown below). The names of each RSS item will then change from bold to regular font, and the number next to the RSS feed name will disappear.

Step 6: Close Apple Mail, go get a cup of coffee. The next time that (a) there are new photos in the photoset and (b) you open Apple Mail, the RSS feed will indicate that there are new items for you to view. As shown below, there are now two new items for me to see. All you need to do is click the Read more... URL and you'll be taken to the new photo:
